SIT BACK

SIT BACK by Moxie Brawl, and choreographed by Sarah Blanc, is a dance theatre piece for 4 women and a bench, bringing you a spoonful of nostalgia, a shot of good fun and a measure of emotion. Based in 1942, London Transport Clippies from the 601 Trolleybus service are having lunch between shifts. The piece brings to light the role of the female work force during World War2.

Lucy was a member of the company that developed the piece and has toured with it extensively to outdoor street arts festivals in the UK and Europe.

In 2014 alone we performed the piece 38 times in 13 festivals to nearly 10,000 people.
